Expo-Iznájar Fayre 2008
Last night I went to the 2008 Expo-Iznájar Fayre with some friends. On display we saw all manner of polished and new machinery, mostly focussed on the olive picking industry for which this region depends. The vast investment into raising awareness of the "Aldeas" or satellite villages of Iznájar meant that there was a new and beautiful stall explaining about the key historical notes of interest ... Then inside the tent we were tempted with all manner of local delicacies including gluten free biscuits, spiced gluten free sausages, hand held fans, an array of home made icecream to make your eyes water and cooking gizmos and widgets. It is a small exhibition, but well attended with many "freebies" and a lot of useful information for the newcomer to this beautiful area. |
